Functions of IQAC


  • To design an effective feedback system that analyzes the institutional output and adjusts the performance strategies accordingly, ensuring alignment with the desired outcomes. This mechanism aims to close the loop between planning, execution, and performance monitoring
  • To recommend measures for enhancing research capabilities and upgrading institutional infrastructure, thereby fostering a robust environment conducive to innovation, learning, and academic excellence.
  • To propose and promote effective teaching-learning strategies that ensure student-centric, outcome-based education. These strategies should be continuously refined through faculty development programs and regular pedagogical reviews.
  • To conduct internal audits and establish a well-defined mechanism for the timely, efficient, and periodic assessment of both academic and administrative activities. This ensures continual improvement and adherence to quality standards across all operations.
  • To develop and apply institutional quality benchmarks and performance parameters for academic and administrative functions, thereby supporting a culture of sustained quality enhancement within the organization.
  • To disseminate comprehensive information regarding various quality parameters of higher education, ensuring awareness and engagement among stakeholders including faculty, students, and administrative staff.
  • To organize workshops, seminars, and awareness programs on quality-related themes and to encourage the formation and active participation of quality circles to drive institutional improvements from within.
  • To maintain thorough documentation of all programs and activities that contribute to institutional quality enhancement, ensuring transparency, accountability, and the availability of data for review and analysis.
  • To serve as the nodal agency for all quality-related initiatives within the institution, coordinating efforts among various departments and acting as the central point for quality assurance and improvement measures.
  • To prepare and submit the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to NAAC, ensuring that all activities, outcomes, and quality parameters are effectively captured and presented in alignment with accreditation requirements.
